Looking for a new tablet? One that goes above and beyond everything you could want in either a laptop or a phone? The Samsung Galaxy Tab series offers a great lineup of tablets, meeting any need and just about any budget. We’ll cover the best of the best and why you should consider purchasing one yourself.
The Galaxy Tab Series
The original Galaxy Tab series first debuted in November of 2010. It released to strong reviews, with many noting its responsive 7″ touch screen, 32GB storage option, and 3G capabilities with many comparing it to a suped-up Galaxy cellphone.
Of course, time has passed and consumers expect more from their tablets, other than just being bigger cellphones and smaller computers.
Galaxy Tab S7
Here is the base model for the Samsung Galaxy S7. It offers an 11″ display, 5G support, excellent speakers, and 256GB of storage. It is far and away from what came in 2010.
It works wonders for home use and basic needs. Not to mention it has a great 13MP camera, with a second 5MP ultra-wide lens. Lots of flexibility for a $549.99 price tag.
Galaxy Tab S7+
Like its little brother, the Galaxy S7+ offers the storage, great cameras, and 5G connectivity as the above.
However, it comes with a larger 12.4″ screen with an AMOLED display. The image quality is spectacular, however, it does reduce the battery life to around 9 hours, which is less than the base model.
Samsung Galaxy Book
Samsung tablets are known for their great displays and rock-solid quality. Here, the Galaxy book differs.
It goes for a 12″ display, somewhat like a small laptop. However, it has reduced RAM (4GB) and storage (128GB) compared to the S7 tablets.
Oddly enough, despite the wide bezel and overall heavier body, it has worse battery life.
It does come with Windows 10, which is great and helps it feel more like a laptop. If you like that 2-in-1 style, this is a great option.
Galaxy Active Tab Series
When it comes to using a tablet in all environments, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a real knock-out.
Let’s start where it differs from the non-Active series. First, it’s durable. It withstood 21 of the MIL-STD-810G tests, designed to push equipment, like that on jets and airplanes, to their limits.
So, yes, for those that are prone to dropping their devices, that’s a win. For those that are in work-heavy situations, like at construction sites, or working in military roles, the Active Tab holds up.
Next, it offers an enhanced touchscreen. This means that the tablet is compatible with thick work gloves. Take notes, scan through schematics, and work while protected with this tablet.
Finally, like its siblings, it has a great battery, rocking 15 hours long at full charge. It’s one of the best Samsung tablets for those working in active environments or for those that want to take their tablet on the go with them.
At an MSRP of $509.99, this is an incredibly great deal.
Excellent Samsung Galaxy Tablets
After reading through this, hopefully, you’ve got a better idea of what the Galaxy Tab series offers. Each meets different needs and doesn’t break the bank either.
