The Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with a price cut from its predecessor. The new phone’s cheapest price will be $799, about $200 lower than the S20. The cost can go as high as $1,199 for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the best upgrade of the new S21 series.
Hardware
The new S21 will have a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen. The resolution will be outstanding at 2400 x 1080 on their base model. All the models will sport the Snapdragon 888 CPU, said to be strong and powerful when gaming. The starting RAM is set at 8GB, but the Ultra will go as high as 16GB.
In regard to the storage capacity, the device will start at 128GB, upgradeable to 512GB. The S21 weight of the basic model will be 6.08 ounces increasing 2 ounces to the Ultra.
Camera
The rear cameras take photos with up to 12 MP in the basic model of the series. The Ultra, though, it’s supposed to pack 108MP, which it “seems to believe in my book”. The selfie camera also has a great quality at 10MP up to 40 MP.
Design
The Galaxy S21 has a wide range of colours to choose from. The four basics are Phantom Violet, Phantom White, Phantom Pink, and Phantom Gray. The main difference between this new model and the previous one is the lack of the reinforced polycarbonate material on the back of the device. Aside from not having this glass on the back, it looks pretty much the same as the S20.

The soon to be released Samsung Galaxy S21 seems to be phenomenal, but we decide that the winner is for the time being the iPhone 12. There are a few reasons. We cannot check the benchmark performances yet, so a full detailed review is on wait in regards to the phone’s performances.
The iPhone 12 is cheaper, and even to upgrade to the higher-tier in the series will cost less with the Apple device. The iPhone is by face value built stronger, especially since Samsung removed the materials which made the S20 almost unbreakable device. The camera, aside from the ridiculous 108MP should be on the same level. And, honestly, Apple is known for the great photos their phone can take.
In conclusion, we feel confident in recommending the iPhone 12 as a safe bet, when upgrading to a new device.
