Post Malone joins Envy Gaming ownership group on August 28. The event took place right after Malone purchased an unrevealed equity stage in the organization. Presently, the American rapper is a partner -owner of quite a few esports rosters. For example, Call of Duty League’s Dallas Empire and Overwatch League’s Dallas Fuel are two such esports rosters.
After Post Malone joins Envy, the company posted an animated picture of the rapper and the brand logo. The design does not say anything about the partnership deal. However, the presentation announces the news clearly.

The 25-year old American music artist and rapper belongs to North Texas. It is the same place where Envy is based out of along with its associate units. Malone says that it has been quite some time that he was trying to enter the esports field. Therefore, the offer to join Envy is a golden opportunity for him. He says that gaming has been his interest right from childhood. It is the primary reason that this whole deal feels correct to him.
Post Malone joins Envy after a year of discussion
Post Malone says that it was a long dream for him to introduce esports to the mainstream sports world during an interview. Therefore, an association and partnership with Envy was the perfect idea for him. Besides, Malone says that Envy is performing a great job in his hometown North Texas. So, it is evident that getting together means turning dreams into reality now.
Earlier, Post Malone collaborated with HyperX before launching his brand of gaming headsets. Moreover, he also found host streams for his brand at the same time. Sometimes, Malone streams on a personal Twitch channel to play games such as PUBG. The Envy-Malone deal discussion started last year. Since then, the connection between the chief gaming officer and Envy Mike Rufail and Malone’s owner has gotten better.
In an interview, Rufail talks about his first time meeting with Malone during the Arlington Posty Fest. It took place in December 2019. He realized that Malone is a good gamer who puts in a lot of effort. Plus, his love for video games is fascinating. Therefore, he and his team at Envy are happy to have him on board.
