No, we are not exaggerating, you just need to have a good understanding of the right amount and right ingredients to use and you can get it easily.

Recipe #1:
Rice Krispie Treats with Marshmallows
The first one is the simplest way to make rice Krispie delight. If you have got the ingredients, try it right now!
- Servings: 4 people
- Preparation time: 5 minutes
- Cooking time: 5 minutes
- Total time: 15 minutes (including extra 5 minutes)
Ingredients:
- 6 cups Mini Marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispie cereals
- 6 Tablespoon Butter
Cooking Instructions:
- Start with melting the butter in a medium-sized pan on medium flame. We say 6 tbsp butter as the more buttery, the tastier and softer. If you want to use less butter, you obviously can but trust us and try it with more butter once. It will be extra yummy.
- Now add 6 cups of the mini marshmallows in the saucepan of melted butter.
- Stir well until the marshmallows are well-coated and melted in the butter.
- Turn off the flame once the marshmallows are completely melted. If you want to color the Krispie treats, you can add food coloring now.
- Now add 6 cups of Rice Krispie cereal into the mixture of marshmallows and butter.
- Mix the Rice Krispie cereal well to ensure it is properly coated in the mixture.
- Empty the mixture in a shallow pan of around 9X11”. Greasing the pan is not necessary as the butter will allow it to release easily from the pan.
- Press the mixture properly in the pan.
- Let it cool and then cut it into small squares to make it easy to release.
The whole recipe will take you less than 15 minutes only.

Rice Krispie Treats for both patents and kids
- Preparation time: 10 minutes
- Total time: 30 minutes
- Servings: 12
Ingredients:
- 3tbsp butter
- 1 packet of jet-puffed marshmallows (the large ones)
- 6 cups of Kellogs Rice Krispie cereal
Cooking Instructions:
- Melt 3tbsp of butter in a saucepan on medium flame.
- Add the jet-puffed marshmallows and stir until it melts in the butter.
- Switch off the flame
- Add 6 cups of Kellogg’s Rice Crispies.
- Mix it until well coated in the marshmallow mixture.
- Use a buttered spatula to empty the mixture in a pan of 13 X 9 X 2”. Remember to coat the pan with cooking spray.
- Keep it aside to cool.
- Cut it into small pieces (any shape you want).
- Serve the same day.
Important directions when cooking in a microwave:
- Heat the butter and marshmallows for 3 minutes on high.
- Stir the mixture after two minutes until it gets smooth.
Note: Cooking time in the microwave may vary.

- Use fresh marshmallows for better taste
- You can also use mini marshmallows or a jar of marshmallow crème as an alternative to jet-puffed marshmallows.
- Do not use diet, tub margarine or reduced-calorie.
- If you want to store the treat, do not keep it more than two days.
- Store it in an air-tight container at room temperature.
- For longer storage, freeze it for 6 weeks by placing it in layers and separating them with wax papers.
- Stand it in room temperature for 15 minutes before eating.

Ingredients:
- 2 sticks butter (some more for the second pan)
- 2 bags of marshmallows
- 1/4tsp kosher salt
- 10 cups rice Krispie cereals
Cooking instructions:
- Take a large pan and melt the 2 sticks of butter on medium flame.
- Add marshmallows, kosher salt and stir well until completely melted and the marshmallows turn light golden. Like around 5 minutes.
- Remove the mixture from heat and add the Rice Krispie cereals
- Empty the mixture in a pan and smoothen the top with a spatula. Make sure you don’t pack the Krispies too much.
- Keep it aside to cool before cutting it into pieces.

Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats
The last on our Rice Krispie variations is the peanut butter Rice Krispie Treats. If you want the dessert to be both healthy and tasty, adding peanut butter is the best option.
In case you are new to cooking, try making this dessert in a bread loaf pan of 9”. Slice it into 3 or 4 thick bars, as many as you want. Make sure it doesn’t fill the tray to tempt you!
To still fit in your pants, do not keep it for days. Make it in less amount for breakfast and satiate your taste buds.

Ingredients:
- 2Tbsp Butter
- ¼ cup of peanut butter
- 22 big marshmallows/ 5 ounces marshmallows/ two and a half cups of mini marshmallows
- 2 and ½ Rice Krispie Cereals
Cooking Instructions:
- Place a bread loaf pan of 8 or 9” with a parchment paper in one side.
- Use cooking spray on all sides and set the tray aside.
- Now take a pan and melt the butter on medium flame.
- Add peanut butter and marshmallows. Wait for it to melt completely.
- Remove it from heat and add the Rice Krispie cereals.
- Stir it until coated well with butter, peanut butter and marshmallows.
- Empty the mixture into the bread loaf pan and press the mixture lightly.
- Keep it to cool for an hour.
- Cut into thick loafs and serve.
Some important tips you need to know while making Rice Krispie Treats
Never pack the treats into the pan
Remember not to press the mixture hard in the pan. Just smooth the top, you can use a little pressure but we say it again – do not pack it. What happens when you overpack? The Rice Krispie treats gets hard and can cut the roof of your mouth. Another reason is the treats will easily dry out when packed hard and you obviously don’t want that!
Use a lot of butter
The main intention why you want to make Rice Krispie treats is that you want to have something delicious. We feel you. The rice treats are meant to be extra buttery and delicious, so make sure you use sufficient butter in the recipe. A little extra calorie once in a while is totally fine. Think it as your cheat day! Using a good amount of butter will ensure the cereals and marshmallows are coated well and the treat is not dry or dull. To make it more delicious, you can also wait for the butter to turn brown before adding the marshmallows.
Double the amount of mallow
By adding extra marshmallows, you will get a treat that you can pull apart easily instead of breaking it into half. It will be softer and tastier. You can also cook the marshmallows for a little longer after it’s melted. It will give the treat a caramelized flavor.
