1. Hairdresser

Typically, when you think about being a hairdresser, you don’t believe that it will bring in a massive amount of money. However, if you are a hairdresser that has a specific skill set, is dedicated to your work, reliable, and has excellent repour with your clients, you can make big money.

Having your hair done will never become a thing of the past; that is why hairdressers have made it onto our list. As long as people have hair on their heads, they will need a hairdresser to help style it.

If becoming a hairdresser is at the top of your career list, seek salons that offer training positions. This way, you will get the training that you need and eventually move up to being a stylist.

2. Cosmetic Surgeon

Cosmetic surgeons are some of the highest-paid people in the beauty industry. Because the world is moving towards quick fixes when it comes to fixing flaws that one may see in themselves.

Being a cosmetic surgery can mean many things, depending on what the surgeon specializes in. To become a cosmetic surgeon, you must go to medical school and then complete a residency at a hospital.

Once you’ve completed all of these things, you’ll want to pursue a fellowship with someone in plastic surgery.

3. Beauty Vloggers

YouTube influencers are taking the world by storm and helping businesses to increase their profits by backing products offered by certain brands. To become a vlogger, there isn’t necessarily any type of training or qualifications that need to be followed to become one.

However, you must have got a likable personality to gain followers. The more followers you have, the more people that you’re able to reach and influence to purchase the products that you advertise on your YouTube channel.

4. Private Dentist

When you think of a private dentist, think about teeth whitening and braces. Cosmetic dentistry can also be used to fix gum issues or repair other cosmetic problems that people may have with their teeth.

To become a cosmetic dentist, you will need to complete a few years of training. The typical course in dentistry will take around 5 years to complete. To be successful in the dentist’s field, you must have a flawless bedside manner.

This will help your clientele to feel more comfortable as you work on their teeth.

5. Beautician or Cosmetologist

These career paths go hand in hand but focus on different things. Beauticians tend to focus on styling your hair, nails, and doing your makeup. Whereas a cosmetologist focuses on things like skincare and makeup.

To make a successful career out of these careers, it is essential to build a solid clientele, and as you become well-known, you can increase your prices. You can make a massive amount of money, primarily if you focus on specific events such as weddings or special events.

6. Modeling

Modeling can be a stressful yet rewarding career field. Make sure that you can take the criticisms that come with being apart of the modeling world. The modeling world has expanded over the last few years and is becoming more inclusive of all body types.

Unlike what is seen on television, there is more to modeling than posing in front of a camera. To be a successful model you need to have a personality and be aware that you’ll be representing a brand, which can make or break your career.

To become a model, you need to have thick skin and be confident. As we stated before, being a model is not for the faint of heart or people that are easily affected by what people think about them.

7. Beauty Therapist

To become a successful beauty therapist, you need to have an outgoing personality and be able to socialize with people from all over the world. A beauty therapist provides clients with treatments such as:

  • Facial treatments
  • Body treatments
  • Body cleansings
  • Massages
  • Complete makeovers
  • Eyebrow shaping
  • Nail treatments

In this career field, you’ll be able to interact with others that share the same passions that you do when it comes to beauty.

8. Skincare Specialist

A skincare specialist focuses just on the nourishment of your skin. You’ll typically focus on clients that have issues with their skin, such as acne, skin unevenness, and other skin blemishes.

Your clientele will build itself quickly if you’re known for helping clients to clear their skin and having lasting results.

9. Nail Technician

As a nail technician, you’ll focus on doing people’s nails. This means everything from a manicure and pedicure to the design of the nails. You must practice nail design outside of performing the design on clients.

Not only will it help you to perfect your craft, but it will also give you something to show potential clients that may persuade them to use the services that you provide for them.

10. Fashion Designer

Fashion design takes skill and attention to detail to be successful in this career field. The world will always need clothes, meaning they will need fashion designers to make those close.

Clothing changes based on the season and based on the current trends of the fashion market.

Career Time

We understand that deciding on a career path will be challenging to do. Still, there are so many amazing careers in the beauty industry that in someway will intertwine. Take your time to decide on the job that best fits your needs.
